Listen up, culture and history lovers: The Berwang Museum of Local History awaits you!

If you love discovering cultures and traditions, the Berwang Museum of Local History is a real must. It is located less than 100 metres from our hotel in the Austrian Alps and is open on Fridays from mid-July to mid-September and by appointment from January to March. It is housed in an old farmhouse that has been renovated and converted into a museum. It now preserves a collection of exhibits from everyday life, agriculture, and forestry as well as home decor. This includes crockery, shoes, ski equipment, tools, traditional costumes, and much more. Everyday farm work is also demonstrated here, for example baking bread, churning butter, or peening. Get ready to try traditional delicacies such as farmer’s bread with butter, pancakes, and fresh sweet pastries at the end. Another higlight: The exhibition of toys from the past and present. A very playful journey through time. Entry is free, by the way.
