Summer holidays in our hotel in the Austrian the Alps mean making the most of the bright blue sky. As our regular guests know, the Thanellerkar lift next to our wellness hotel in Tyrol is getting on in years – such a long drag lift with a slope, no matter how beautiful, is no longer up to date. Additionally, the connection to the Bilig lift, also a drag lift, is far from modern. As a partner of the Berwang mountain railways, it is and always was our target to replace both lifts over the next few years, and thanks to modern facilities and shorter waiting times, to provide our guests with more time to explore. We are now proud to announce that the Thaneller ski area is being modernised. After the first phase was completed, it was already possible to use part of this ambitious project during the 2019/2020 winter ski season. Children in particular should be delighted when they are spoilt for choice between the 6-seater Egghof Sunjetchairlift and the 10-seater Obere Karbahn gondola lift. By 2025 at the latest, all parts of the project will be completed.
