Coburger Hütte moutain hut

In summer, there is nothing more beautiful than a hike through unspoilt natural landscapes.

Coburger Hütte moutain hut is located at 1,920 metres above sea level, in the heart of the Wetterstein moutain range and only 26 kilometres from our hotel in the Austrian mountains. It was built in 1901 – but the views it offers know to impress even today. Only 250 metres from the hut you’ll find Seebensee lake, which we have already presented. Other highlights: The peak of Mt. Zugspitze is reflected in the crystal-clear water of the mountain lake. Incredible! The hike to the hut is quite easy and a great tip for families. Starting point is either Ehrenwald, Biberwier, or Obsteig. Walking time is about two hours – but if you like it fast, hop onto the saddle of your mountain bike and roll toward happiness. Coburger Hütte mountain hut awaits you with traditional delights and Tyrolean specialities that will fill your energy reserves. Please note: If you want to stay the night (80 beds available), you need a sleeping bag. You can either bring your own or buy one at the moutain hut.
